Job Description
To provide active and substantive technical
backstopping to UNFPA assisted country-level
programmes and activities in the area of population
communication and advocacy.
To help in conceptualization and development of
innovative population communication and advocacy
programme strategies and approaches.
To identify and mobilize regional and national
technical resources in the area of population
communication and advocacy, and contribute to building
further national capacities in the field.
To play an advocacy role for the implementation of the
ICPD Programme of Action, and support cooperation and
coordination links between UNESCO’s HQ and Regional
offices and UNFPA assisted country programmes and
projects. |
